The Downdetector heat maps for Gmail, YouTube, Google Drive, Google’s search engine, and other Google services showed a significant number of people having trouble accessing those websites starting at around 8:50 p.m. Eastern and confirms Google outage.

Google Services Go Down in Some Parts of the U.S. and People experienced outages of services like Gmail, YouTube, and Google Meet.

Yes, Google YouTube also get down for a span of time Google users experienced a widespread service disruption for just over an hour on Thursday evening.

 Google services are now recovering

 Update: (8:00pm PT): here is a statement from Google: “We experienced a short service disruption affecting several products including G Suite, and are now recovering. For more details, please visit our status dashboard.”

Google said at 9:30 p.m, on its online dashboard, Eastern that it was “aware of a problem with Gmail affecting a significant subset of its users.” It posted a similar message for Google Calendar and its videoconferencing service. An update at 10:07 p.m. Eastern said the issues had been resolved. The company apologized for the inconvenience.
